Through The mobile dispensary Ramakrishna Math ,Barasat serves people in the remotest areas by providing treatment and medicines regularly.

The Library of Ramakrishna Math, Barasat which is known as Shivananda Library is a treasure-house of Ramakrishna –Vivekananda-Vedanta literature and has a huge collection of Bengali and English Literature and books on other subjects as well.

The book stall and show-room of Ramakrishna Math ,Barasat is rich in collection of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Literature. Along with books it also contains Photographs, calendars, lockets , CDs, incense sticks and other related things for sale.

Ramakrishna Math, Barasat runs a Charitable Dispensary aiming at practical exercise of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda’s ideal of ‘worship of man is worship of God’. A large number of people from various areas come here and get treated free of cost or paying only a nominal charge.
